Magnetic Attraction: The black housing contains a powerful magnet in its core. As water circulates through the unit, metallic particles (magnetite) are magnetically pulled out of the flow and cling to the magnet.
Cyclonic Separation: Many of these units are designed to slow the water down and induce a vortex (cyclonic effect) inside the chamber, causing heavier non-magnetic debris to settle to the bottom.
Purging: Similar to the sediment filter you shared earlier, this unit has a drain valve at the bottom. By opening this valve, you can flush out the accumulated sludge and debris.
